1: Cash only to be paid in full on the day of the sale.

2: The buyer shall pay the hammer price together with a premium of 15% on the sum total of all accounts. Vendors premium is 10%.

3: Any representation, statement by the auctioneer as to the authorship, attribution, genuineness, authenticity, origin, date, age, provenance, condition or estimated selling price is a statement of opinion every buyer should exercise and rely on their own judgement as to such matters.

4: Purchasers, by making a bid for a lot, acknowledge that they have satisfied themselves fully with all the sale conditions including that the lot may be damaged or repaired.

5: No bid should be retracted after it has been accepted by the Auctioneer. 

6: Every person on the Auctioneers premises at any time shall be deemed to be there at their own risk, he shall have no claim against the auctioneers in respect of any accident which may occur or injury, damage or loss howsoever caused

7: Clearing Purchases - Items may be cleared during any auction if this is practicable and up to one hour after the end of the auction. It is a requirement of purchase that all items must be collected by 4.00pm of the first working day after any auction.

PLEASE NOTE: STORAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SOLD ITEMS. 

8: Sold lots do not become the property of the buyer until payment has been made in full but do become their responsibility at the fall of the hammer.

9: Any damage caused either to items on view or being offered for sale is to be made good by the persons committing the same principals are responsible for the acts of their servants or any person employed by them. The Auctioneer will have the final decision on any restitution to be made.

10: All items that have a plug on are tested only for safety and no guarantee is given that they are in working order. All items with plugs removed become the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure fitted plugs that are put onto appliances are by a qualified electrician

11: Sellers payments will be available to collect on the Wednesday following the 2nd weeks sale providing all unsold lots have been removed from the sale room. Any items that have not been removed will be disposed of by the Auctioneer at the vendors expense

12: Sellers sale proceeds to be collected within 30 days of the end of the auction. The Auctioneer will not be held responsible for monies held after this time

13: Lots entered at £1.00 per lot – the lots are run for 2 consecutive auctions

14: Commission Bidding - We will be pleased to bid on your behalf if you are unable to attend any auction. Lots will always be bought as cheaply as possible subject to other bidding or reserves. You may submit a commission bid by telephone, e-mail or post. All bids MUST be submitted by 11:30am on the day of the auction.
